Conversation anonymisation
General overview
Section 5 "Anonymisation" includes:
- a "Standard level",
- an "Advanced level" subject to additional charges. Not currently developed.
The standard level allows the following personal data to be anonymised:
-
email
-
IP address
-
other personal or sensitive data such as:
- proper names,
- disease names,
- codes with a particular structure.
which will be defined in a Forbidden words registry.
This standard data will be masked by a replacement word, "XXXXX" by default, in user messages when anonymisation is activated in the back-office and the user refuses their consent.
For users who accept consent, messages will be recorded without masking.
Enabling anonymisation
Anonymisation of user messages is enabled via the "GDPR > Settings > Anonymisation" function.
The "GDPR - Modify anonymisation settings" permission must be activated on the role assigned to the user logged into the back-office.
IMPORTANT If anonymisation is not enabled, in the event of the user refusing consent, their messages will not be traced in the conversation history, but will be taken into account in the dashboards.
Managing the forbidden words registry
The forbidden words registry is administered via the "GDPR > Settings > Forbidden words registry" function.
Each word and expression (code with a particular structure) must be registered to be masked in user messages.
This section is currently being finalised.
