Digital Employee Identity

The "Employé digital > Identité" page lets you define and customize all the identity characteristics of your digital employee: their appearance, name, role, voice, languages, and display size. Remember to click Save to apply all changes.

Character

The thumbnail in the top left displays the current visual appearance of your digital employee — the 3D character your users will see on their interface. Click the edit icon to change the character from the available options.

The displayed name of the digital employee as it appears to users is shown below the character.

Personal information

Three fields define the textual identity of your digital employee:

FieldDescription
First nameThe name used by the digital employee to introduce themselves and personalize their messages.
FunctionThe job title or role of the digital employee (e.g. "Reception Assistant", "HR Assistant"). It can be used in the welcome message.
GenderSets the digital employee's gender (Female / Male), which determines grammatical agreement in automatically generated messages.

Employee voice

This selector lets you choose the text-to-speech voice used by your digital employee in voice mode.

  • Use the dropdown to browse the available voices.
  • Click Listen to a sample to preview the selected voice before confirming.

The choice of voice directly impacts how users perceive your digital employee — make sure to select a voice consistent with their gender and positioning.

Employee language

This table lists the languages in which your digital employee can interact with users.

ColumnDescription
LanguageA language configured for the digital employee (e.g. French, English).
Agent default languageThe language active by default when a conversation starts. Only one language can be set as the default.
  • To add a language, select it from the "Choose a language" dropdown and click Add.
  • To remove a language, click the delete button on the right of the corresponding row.

Automatic language detection

When a conversation starts, the digital employee automatically detects the user's browser language:

  • If that language is among the configured languages, the digital employee addresses the user in their language.
  • If the browser language is not supported, the digital employee automatically falls back to the default language defined in the table.
info

The default language should match the primary language expected by your users. If your digital employee is multilingual, make sure the knowledge base is populated in each of the configured languages.

Employee size

This section lets you adjust the display dimensions of the digital employee depending on the integration mode used on your site.

Integration modeAvailable settings
Full screenSize as a percentage and top margin in pixels.
WidgetSize as a percentage and top margin in pixels.

These settings let you adapt the visual rendering of the digital employee to the layout of each integration context, without modifying the site's code.
